Board President/Manager Cornelia Manwaring is pleased to help establish
the Nebo Holiday Chorus and Orchestra in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Music
degree in Music Education from the Franz Liszt Academy in Weimar, Germany and a
Master of Arts degree in Music Education (MusicMedicine) from Brigham Young
University. Mrs. Manwaring has been active in choral singing, conducting and
accompanying all her life. She teaches German at Utah Valley University and
runs her own private music studio at home. She calls Spanish Fork her home
since 2014.
Artistic
DirectorKameron Kavanaugh is a native of Payson, UT. He
currently serves as the Director of Choirs at Spanish Fork Jr. High School. He
received his Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from Brigham Young
University-Idaho and his Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from Brigham
Young University where he studied with Dr. Andrew Crane and Rosalind Hall. As a
member of BYU Singers, he has had the opportunity to perform with such groups
as the King’s Singers and Tenebrae. Mr. Kavanaugh was a finalist in the annual
Raymond W. Brock Student Composition Competition hosted by the ACDA.

Co-Director
Margaret Larson has been involved in orchestral
music all her life. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Utah
State University. Since her elementary school days she has participated in
summer music camps, all-state orchestras, special ensembles, and university
orchestras. She taught in the Nebo School District for 17 years and is now
retired. She has been a member of the Utah Valley Symphony for over 25 years
and is currently serving as principal violist in that group. She also has over
30 years experience of choral conducting. She moved to Spanish Fork with her
family in 1992.
Treasurer
Jolyn Whittaker, CPA, brings more than 25 years
in diverse tax, financial, and business experience to her role as a Certified
Public Accountant. She graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University
in 1992 with her Masters of Accountancy degree, Tax Emphasis, and a Bachelor's
of Science degree. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants and the Utah Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ms.
Whittaker enjoys working with numbers and especially loves spending time with
her family.
Secretary (2018-2019)
Lisa DaNae Dayley has a BA from Brigham Young University in advertising
and has owned her own media creation and graphic design business, Dayley
Creations, for over 20 years. She has authored several books including
"Photoshop Bible". She loves to sing and is thrilled to be a member of
the Nebo Holiday Chorus and Orchestra. Using her graphic design and
computer skills to help out as the secretary of NHCO is a privilege. She
is thrilled to have found such an enjoyable and meaningful way to
contribute to her community. She and her husband, Brad, have four boys,
two beautiful daughters-in-law and one grandson.

Secretary (2017-2018)
Christy Banz is a stay-at-home mom who believes
strongly in the power of music. She plays the flute and has been part of many
outstanding performing groups throughout her life. A native of Roy, Utah,
Christy has lived in Spanish Fork since 2015. She studied Economics and
Business Management at Brigham Young University. After graduating she worked as
a secretary for the Ensign magazine until she turned her full-time attention to
raising children.
