Lynnett Rands

Soprano

has been nicknamed, "the singing lawyer". She is Dean of Communications at Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School, but has been active in vocal performance all of her life. She studied opera performance privately, has been in several musical theater productions, including "The Music Man" in the chorus as a teenager and then later as Marian. She was a principal soloist for the Lake Pend Oreille Chorale and Orchestra for seven seasons and was one of the founders of the Music Conservatory of Sandpoint in Sandpoint, Idaho. She has taught voice lessons to a broad range of ages. She also sang with the Mormon Choir of Washington, DC and has done solo performances in Qatar, South Korea, Egypt, and Afghanistan. She recently performed the role of Sarah in the "Faith of Our Mothers" production in Utah County.

to try out for both

the chorus and orchestra.
